No smoking in travelodges either - from next year for existing travelodges and from now on opening of new ones. Premier Travel Inns play "follow the leader" and join in as well.
So some enterprising souls have started http://www.hotelsmoking.co.uk to list hotels and pubs with bedrooms etc where you smoke.
Fairly good idea if they get some support from hotels with smoking rooms. For accommodation suppliers it a free advert at present.
Wth 30-40% of UK adults smoking thats a fairly big market segment not to be ignored.
Still think its odd that some hotels don't allow smoking but allow dogs in the room.
